Coming Soon – A New Website

May 17, 2010 By: admin Category: Food/Wine, Me, Uncategorized

Yes, after several months of trying to come up with a decent idea/concept I think I might have cracked,it.

www.whatshallwedrink.com will be launching soon – I hope – and will be a reference for anyone looking for inspiration in what to drink.  I like to think of it as an online drinks cabinet if you will…featuring;

Wines

Cocktails

Beers

And anything else we see, drink or invent in the coming months.  My aim, as your friendly web based bartender, will be to create a site that becomes both a reference ( so I remember what I liked…) and an inspirer, especially on those evenings when you really fancy a drink, but just cant decide whats going to hit the spot.

On that note…

Here we go

April 02, 2010 By: admin Category: Family, Food/Wine, Me, Music/Entertainment, Sport, Travel/Hotels, Work

OK, so I’m back, and after a lot of thought and a fair amount of green eyed looking at other peoples sites I’m still looking for my great idea and my passport outta here.  So, I’m going to stick with this blog about me.  I’ve thought about all the things I do, enjoy and get told to do and will try to blog about those things as I go along.  Not sure at this point in time how often I will update but I’ll give it a go.

I hope I can keep things interesting – I reckon most of the material will come from my life on the road.  My job involves travelling the world, staying in some strange hotels and meeting some interesting characters along the way.  My aim is to provide an alternative review of the hotels I stay in and hopefully, over time can build up a resource for other business and leisure travellers to use.  As well as hotels and planes I will also blog about;

Cricket

Food and wine I enjoy

The Music I love

My work ( perhaps )

and anything else that takes my fancy,  if anyone’s still reading I’ll be amazed but I believe very much in the Babel theory;

IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME !
